I had cow stomach soup this week.

Holaaaaa Familiaaaaa!

I had cow stomach soup this week.  I didnt ask until after I ate it. Sometimes you’ve got to put your head down and get it done.  I’m still smiling.

Como estan!  Les amo muchisimo. So great to hear from all of you!! So pumped to see that you all have had such a great short vacation this last week.  I also loved the pictures from the A’s game.  You are so right.  Giancarlo Stanton's cleats are super nice.  Love that they are Vandy colors!  Ancla bajo! (Anchor down!)  I loved going to A's games, so glad to see that you still get those awesome seats!  Mom, thanks for the package!! I did get them and the letter.  I think just the mail is a little slow here. But it did get here!!

I actually really do need my rain jacket!! There is a hurricane coming up the coast of Florida and we might be getting some of the offshoots of the storm.  I am really gonna need it haha. It has poured here a few times.  Even today.

Here’s a shot of our district.  I get to work with so many cool guys.

Soooooo this was a bit of a crazy week to say the least. Kind of sadly, we have hit a few stumbling blocks with a few investigators.  Our golden family, Glenda and Edwin, apparently have been having some troubles in their home.  It has been so sad but we just keep on praying for them.

Elder Handy just said to put in my email that he's awesome.  Here’s a picture of him.  He’s become a great friend of mine.

High note though, as in, super awesome high note! Elder Ledezma and I were literally knocking on so many doors, because one lesson fell through.  We spent like an hour and a half, and literally got nothing.  We were down to one more house, and then we were going to take off, and we knocked this door, and a man opened.  We actually met him a week ago, Franklin.  He invited us in.  AMAZING family.   Special needs daughter that is so sweet, a son that is like 16, and a super nice wife. We are going back to teach them more tomorrow, but the spirit was so strong.  Honestly it was one of those "last door" experiences. Just was such a miracle.

I had to include a pic of me on the bike.  It’s all we do all day.  haha

Here I am in Mod’s Pizza.  It basically  the Blaze for Texas.

Oh.... AND.... so I get this call on Friday night from President Guthrie.  First off, he is the best.  He is such a support to me, and I am so grateful for him and Sister Guthrie.  Sister Guthrie is absolutely amazing.  She encourages and supports us all. I don’t know how she does it. Mom, you would love her.  So President calls and says, "Elder Hansen, I am going to ask something very hard of you, but I want you to know that it is something the Lord has impressed upon me... The Lord wants you to train a new missionary." So that about blew my mind.   I am going to be staying in the same apartment, but I am now a trainer.  6 weeks in, and now a trainer.  It is all going to be faith. I'm freaking out just a little about the training and the language.  My companion is coming straight from the MTC.  I’m super excited and ready for the challenge.

"Faith it ’til you make it."  My new motto. A little twist on the “Fake it ’til you make it.”  Moroni 7:33. "If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me.”  These are the words of Christ.  My challenge is to look at every situation with faith.  If you are doing what you're supposed to be doing, and following what God would want you to do, don't doubt.  Christ promised us we will have the power to do so, if it's His will!

Love you all so much and hope you have a great week!
